Fred, a two‑foot‑tall cloth puppet, just wants an ordinary life: a job, love, a place in society. But when his Puppetry Living Allowance is cut, his world unravels in a riot of biting satire, dark humour, and unexpected tenderness.

Created by award‑winning inclusive theatre company Hijinx, Meet Fred features a powerhouse cast of performers with and without learning disabilities and/or autism, whose lived experiences bring raw authenticity to Fred’s fight for independence.
