Taclus

Pete the badger loves order—flowers lined up, leaves swept away, even the animals kept neat. But when autumn arrives, his obsession with tidiness goes too far, and he accidentally destroys his own home.

Inspired by Emily Gravett’s beloved children’s book, Taclus is a gentle yet cautionary tale about caring for the world around us—and the importance of leaving room for a little wildness.

With enchanting puppetry, original music, and a playful dose of silliness, this Welsh-language performance will captivate young audiences while reminding us that life is richer when it’s not perfectly tidy.

Taclus is co-created by Lee Lyford, Lucy Rivers, and Rachael Canning, with the Welsh script translated by Llinos Mai. Commissioned from Emily Gravett’s award-winning picture book, the production is proudly presented in Welsh, with separate English performances under the title Tidy.
