Sherman Youth Theatre Presents The Blunder Games – A Comedy Drama of Tough Choices and Community Spirit
Cardiff, UK – This spring, Sherman Youth Theatre proudly presents The Blunder Games, a hilarious and heartfelt comedy drama written by emerging playwright Ffion King.
When a council faces a difficult decision—cutting either the historical re-enactment society or the coding club—tensions rise, alliances form, and a battle ensues. Only one can survive. Packed with big laughs, unexpected twists, and genuine heart, The Blunder Games explores the challenges of community, creativity, and compromise.
Developed with Sherman Theatre’s Introduction to Playwriting participants aged 15 to 18, the production is an uproarious celebration of youth voices and local talent.
Ffion King, a neurodiverse writer and actor from Aberystwyth, graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2018. Since beginning her writing journey in 2021, her play FREE SPIRIT was selected as one of the final eight recommended plays in the Play On / Am Ddrama collaboration between National Theatre Wales, Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, and Theatr Clwyd.
Sherman Youth Theatre invites audiences to experience the energy, humour, and heart of The Blunder Games—a production that proves even the toughest decisions can spark unforgettable stories.
