Eternity
Larry wakes up in the afterlife, suddenly back in the body of his younger self. An Afterlife Consultant explains that every soul has just one week to decide where to spend eternity. Soon, his wife Joan arrives—but she faces an impossible choice: remain with Larry, the partner she shared her life with, or reunite with her first love Luke, who died young and has been waiting decades for her.
Blending humor and heart, Eternity is a fantasy romantic comedy that asks life’s biggest questions with warmth and wit. Starring Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, and Callum Turner, with supporting roles from Da’Vine Joy Randolph, John Early, and Olga Merediz, the film is directed by David Freyne, who co-wrote the screenplay with Pat Cunnane.
Premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival and released in U.S. theaters on November 26, 2025, Eternity has been praised by critics for its charm, moving performances, and light touch on profound themes.
