Wicked For Good

Wicked: For Good continues the untold story of the witches of Oz in a sweeping cinematic sequel.

Now demonised as the Wicked Witch of the West, Elphaba lives in exile deep within the Ozian forest, while Glinda revels in fame and influence at Emerald City’s palace. As an angry mob rises against Elphaba, the two women must reunite to transform themselves—and all of Oz—for good.

Directed by Jon M. Chu and written by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox, the film adapts the second act of the celebrated 2003 stage musical by Stephen Schwartz and Holzman, itself inspired by Gregory Maguire’s novel and the classic Oz tales.

Returning from the first film are Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, alongside Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum. Set before and during the events of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Wicked: For Good explores friendship, identity, and destiny in a world on the brink of change
