Schoolteacher Seiichi Yabushita has built his life around integrity and dedication to his students. But everything unravels when a mother accuses him of violently disciplining her son—an allegation she claims drove the boy to attempt taking his own life. Though Seiichi insists he has no memory of the incident, his headteacher pressures him into apologising, hoping to contain the fallout.
