Warner Bros. Pictures Announces “Wuthering Heights”, a Decadent New Vision from Emerald Fennell
Los Angeles, CA — Warner Bros. Pictures is proud to unveil “Wuthering Heights”, a bold and intoxicating new adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic novel, written and directed by Academy Award–winner Emerald Fennell (Saltburn). The film premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre on January 28, 2026, to an electrified audience and will open in theaters nationwide on February 13.
Set against the sweeping, untamed Yorkshire Moors, “Wuthering Heights” reimagines the iconic tale of two neighbouring families — the refined Lintons of Thrushcross Grange and the brooding Earnshaws of Wuthering Heights. When Catherine Earnshaw, daughter of Mr. Earnshaw, forms a passionate and forbidden bond with Heathcliff, the family’s servant, their turbulent love ignites a chain of devastation that echoes across generations.

Margot Robbie stars as Catherine Earnshaw, with Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, delivering fierce and magnetic performances that anchor the film’s emotional intensity. They are joined by an acclaimed ensemble including Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes, and Ewan Mitchell.
Fennell’s adaptation blends gothic romance with her signature visual decadence, offering a visceral, haunting, and deeply contemporary interpretation of Brontë’s timeless story. With its sweeping cinematography, atmospheric score, and unflinching portrayal of obsession and desire, “Wuthering Heights” promises to be one of 2026’s most talked‑about cinematic events.
“Wuthering Heights” opens exclusively in theaters February 13.
